If you haven’t already noticed, I love blue. Everything blue. Blue walls, blue pillows, blue stationary. It’s my favorite color. In fact, in the first house I bought, I had soft blue walls throughout. To me, it is effortlessly chic, calming, and goes with so many other colors and textures.
Another thing I love? Moodboards! I think they are one of the best ways to show off a style, find inspiration, and help with branding.
Sometimes one of the hardest parts of branding, or re-branding, is seeing the final vision. What will it look like? How will that logo go with the fonts chosen? Do those two textures really go well together? It can frustrate a client, or even yourself! So one of my favorite tips: Create a mood board.
Before I start any branding project, I make a mood board of what that brand is. What is the feel, what is the message? I keep it on hand as I work with a client, and it is very handy. Looking to make custom Pinterest graphics? Check out the mood board. Looking for inspiring content? Moodboard.
A picture is worth a thousand words, and mood boards are a great tool to create that picture for your client.
