Have you noticed how much I like mint? I find the color so soft, peaceful, and fresh. I even have a mint Kate Spade bag I wear all spring long. When planning a wedding around the color mint, it is a careful balance between kids party and a sophisticated affair. Here are some tips to make your mint wedding fun and classic!
- Keep the other colors neutral. When using mint, black and white are natural color pairings. The white is a crisp contrast to the pastel, and black makes it modern.
- Keep the touches subtle. I love the idea of adding some mint into your cake, or soft mint bridesmaids gowns.
- Use anemones and eucalyptus. When thinking of flowers to have in your bouquet, I love the pop of anemones with soft greenery and eucalyptus. You can keep the flowers neutral, with some bold black for a fun touch. (Love anemonies? See more inspiration here!)
- Add metallics. Metallics continue to be a huge trend in 2018, and I don’t see it going away anytime soon. If you want to stray from gold, rose gold is a great alternative that adds a metallic sheen, with a feminine touch.
