We built her a brand world as expressive and intentional as the events she produces: bold patterns, rich color, movement throughout, and copy that finally speaks directly to the couples she actually wants to work with. Kaushay & Co.

Kaushay is a Utah-based wedding planner with a background in broadcast journalism and theater, which means she has always understood that a wedding is, at its core, a story. Her events are known for bold color, thoughtful production, and an unmistakably warm, collaborative approach that makes couples and vendors alike feel genuinely taken care of.

She came to us first in 2024 for a website audit, and it was clear from the beginning that she was at an inflection point. She had years of success, a trusted roster of clients, and a clear vision for where she wanted to go, but her brand wasn't reflecting it. In 2025, she came back for the full Beespoke Blueprint. She was ready.

Kaushay's brand needed to do something that is hard in design: be bold and playful without feeling overwhelming, and feel elevated without losing the warmth and approachability that is at the core of who she is.

Too far in one direction and you lose the sophistication.

We approached her brand from the center out, starting with a deep brand strategy to uncover her true positioning, her ideal client, and the unique qualities that make Kaushay & Co. a category of one.

From there, we carried that clarity into every decision: messaging, visual identity, website structure, and even her client-facing documents. Because Kaushay takes care of every detail for her clients, we wanted her brand to reflect that same level of care from the very first touchpoint.

She also came with something important: she trusted us completely. Having already worked with us on her audit, she gave us the creative freedom to run with ideas — blinking icons, bold patterns, movement throughout — and that trust is what made this one of our most creatively expressive 

Inclusivity was also central to the brief. Being a Black-owned business is a core part of Kaushay's identity, and it was important that her brand language felt authentically representative, deeply welcoming, and emotionally resonant with the couples she most wants to serve, without alienating anyone. That balance lived in every line of copy we wrote.

Brand Strategy

We started with a thorough brand strategy: mapping her ideal client, auditing her competitive landscape in the Utah wedding market, and uncovering the specific qualities that set Kaushay & Co. apart. 

This foundation matters because strong design cannot exist in a vacuum. A beautiful brand is only effective when it is rooted in a deep understanding of the audience, the market, the client experience, and the business goals behind it.

Kaushay didn't have an inquiry problem. She had a positioning problem. and once we solved that, everything else clicked.

Copywriting

Kaushay has a journalism and theater background, so she knows how to tell a story. Our job was to make sure her website was telling the right one.

We developed messaging that speaks directly to couples who crave color, uniqueness, and authenticity. The ones who trust their planner completely and want to feel seen from the very first scroll.

The copy balances warmth and sophistication, makes inclusivity feel natural rather than performative, and positions Kaushay's collaborative process as the relief her ideal clients have been searching for.


Brand Design

Kaushay uses color better than almost anyone in her industry. The brand needed to honor that 

Inspired by Moroccan tiles and the intricate detail found in their patterns, we built a brand system anchored by a signature mandala-tile pattern that adds depth, layering, and versatility across digital and print.

The palette is rich and vibrant without feeling chaotic. Multiple pattern options give the brand endless range.

We also redesigned her key client documents, the first touchpoints couples experience when they book, so the brand shows up with the same warmth and sophistication from day one.

We built Kaushay's website to do exactly that. Movement throughout creates energy without chaos. A bold, color-forward design makes an immediate impression without overwhelming.

The portfolio page (our personal favorite on this project) was designed to feel like an experience in itself, pulling couples into the world of her work rather than just presenting a gallery of images. And underneath the beauty, a full SEO strategy ensures the right couples can actually find her.
